We’ve lived in Casa Miraverde for years, and from the moment we arrived, we knew it was something special. Tucked away in Mas Coll, just a few minutes from the centre of Alella, the house gave us what we were looking for: peace, privacy, space, and a connection to nature. Set on a generous and almost entirely flat plot of just over 1,000 m², it’s been the perfect setting for family life — calm and green, with wide open views of the surrounding hills.

One of the things we’ve loved most is how usable the outdoor space is. Because the plot is so flat, the garden has always been a safe and practical place for the kids to run around, kick a ball, or just enjoy being outside. We’ve spent countless afternoons by the large saltwater pool, and the open grass area has been home to everything from birthday parties to lazy summer picnics. Our verandas have plenty of space for outdoor seating, and they’ve become our go-to spots for meals, reading, or just soaking in the view. There's even a paved area at the back of the house where our children have played basketball and other games over the years.

Parking has never been an issue — we’ve comfortably parked two or three cars in our private area, with direct access straight into the house, which has been especially handy when coming home with shopping or with sleeping kids in the back seat. Next to the parking, there’s a spacious storage room that’s helped us keep everything from bikes to gardening tools neatly out of the way.

Inside, the layout has always felt open and easy. The ground floor has a bright living room filled with natural light, where we’ve spent many evenings in front of the log-burning fireplace. The kitchen is large enough to cook and eat as a family, and there’s a formal dining room we’ve used for special dinners and holidays. There’s also the option to open the kitchen to the dining room to create a spacious open-plan layout, which would further enhance the flow of the living space. The laundry room is tucked just off the kitchen — super practical for daily life and also fitted with a toilet and sink, adding extra convenience to the ground floor.

Upstairs, we have three bedrooms, each with panoramic views over the hills. There’s currently one full bathroom on this floor, but if we were staying, we’d definitely consider extending the space. There's potential to create either a fourth bedroom with an additional bathroom, or a generous master suite with a walk-in wardrobe and private en-suite. The flexibility of the layout makes it easy to adapt the home to future needs, and the potential to add both comfort and long-term value is clear.

Casa Miraverde has been more than just a house for us. It’s been the setting for years of family memories. Homes like this don’t come up often in Alella — especially with a flat plot, a pool, views, and real potential to grow into the space over time. It’s a warm, welcoming place with so much to offer, and we’re proud to be passing it on to someone who’ll enjoy it just as much as we have.
